JMIKS Fasteners supplies single ring anchor bolts in mild steel and stainless steel. This through bolt has one expansion ring (clip) that grips the concrete when the nut is tightened.
Through bolt for push-through installation.
The anchor is hammered into the drilled hole up to its length, minus the height of the nut.
When the nut is tightened, the tapered bolt is pulled into the single expansion ring and expands it.
The ring grips the wall of the hole and holds the fixture firmly.
A single ring anchor has one expansion clip near the tapered end. It is quick to set and suits medium loads in solid concrete. Where more grip is needed, a double ring anchor bolt spreads the load over two clips.
Drill a hole of the anchor diameter through the fixture into solid concrete and clean out the dust. Tap the anchor in with a hammer, then tighten the nut so that the ring expands and grips the hole.
Both are through bolts that expand when the nut is tightened; the name changes with the clip design. For more grip, choose a double ring anchor bolt.
