How It Works

Through bolt for push-through installation.
The anchor is hammered into the drilled hole up to its length, minus the height of the nut.
When the nut is tightened, the tapered end of the bolt is pulled into the wedge clip and expands it.
The wedge clip grips the wall of the hole for a reliable anchorage.

How to Install a Wedge Anchor

Drill: drill a hole of the anchor diameter through the fixture into solid concrete, a little deeper than the embedment depth.
Clean: blow or brush the dust out of the hole.
Insert: with the washer and nut on, tap the anchor through the fixture until the washer sits on it.
Tighten: turn the nut to the recommended torque. This pulls the cone into the clip and sets the anchor.
