JMIKS Fasteners supplies step bolts in stainless steel SS 304, SS 316 and SS 202, mild steel 4.6 and 5.6, and high tensile 8.8 and 10.9, from M6 to M36 and ¼” to 1-1/4″ BSW. Step bolts are fixed to towers and poles to form climbing steps.

What Is a Step Bolt?

A step bolt is a long bolt with a hexagon head and a long thread. It is fitted through the leg of a steel tower or pole with nuts, so that the projecting part forms a step for climbing. Step bolts for steel structures are covered by IS 10238, and for outdoor towers they are usually hot dip galvanized.
