JMIKS Fasteners supplies flange nuts in SS 304, SS 316 and SS 202, and in mild steel and high tensile grades, from M3 to M36 and ¼” to 1-1/4″ BSW. The wide flange spreads the load and replaces a separate washer.

About Flange Nuts

A flange nut is a hex nut with a wide round flange at the base. The flange spreads the clamping force and protects the surface, and the serrated type also resists loosening from vibration. The common standards are DIN 6923 and ISO 4161.

Flange Nut FAQs

Serrated or plain flange nut?

Serrated flange nuts lock better against vibration but mark the surface. Plain flange nuts are better on painted or soft surfaces. Use them with flange bolts for a matching joint.
